Whitney Hitchler FNP-C, AG-ACNP graduated in 2018 with her Family Nurse Practitioner degree and in 2019 with her Adult-Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner degree from Allen College of Nursing in Waterloo, Iowa. She is board certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and graduated both degrees with honors recognized through the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She previously worked as a pulmonary nurse practitioner caring for an array of acute and chronic respiratory illnesses and primary care. She recently made a switch from pulmonology to aesthetic medicine for which she grew deeply fond of.
She is an experienced injector with both neuromodulators and fillers as well as cosmetic laser treatments for a variety of skin conditions and anti-aging. She is currently working towards her certification as an aesthetic nurse specialist through the plastic surgical nursing certification board.
Prior to earning both of her nurse practitioning degrees, Whitney worked as a cardiovascular registered nurse in the cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology labs as well as cardiopulmonary stress labs and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation. Her graduate project examined the effects of cardiac modified yoga on depression scores and patient satisfaction was nominated for a transformational health care award.
Originally from the Midwest, Whitney has relocated to her husband’s home state of Texas. She has an adorable son, Wells, and loves to spend time with family. Outside of work Whitney loves to read, exercise, and spend time outdoors.
